Parallel Report Submitted to United Nations Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)
Labour Action China (LAC), together with the Chinese Working Women Network (CWWN), the Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions (HKCTU) and Worker Empowerment (WE), submitted a joint parallel report to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) recently. The fifty-ninth session of the Committee is convened between 27 October and 7 November 7, where the Committee is going to assess ​​the implementation of this international human rights instrument, and hence the concluding observations and recommendations will be fedback to the Chinese Government.
