LAC is advocating for the revision of the Law on the Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases, with key issues being the monopolisation of diagnosis, removal of unnecessary administrative hurdles, the patients' right to know, issue with civil compensation, and pre-payment of medical bill by the state work injury insurance fund. In addition we are also advocating for the establishment of a designated occupational disease compensation fund to replace the current subscription-based work injury insurance.
